The IRiMa Risks Research Program is structured around three main categories of actions:

  1. Coordination actions for scientific networking, organization of assemblies and workshops, and communication.
  2. Targeted projects aimed at structuring and strengthening five major research hubs (coastal risks, mountain risks, NaTech risks, overseas risks, and social sciences), supporting research infrastructures, and fostering training initiatives and international development.
  3. Open projects designed to develop the skills and infrastructure needed to strengthen the community in the long term, both at the national and European levels. These projects are selected through dedicated calls for proposals, intended to support highly innovative or emerging collaborative research.
